Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run (Midway)

We're really going to try our best not to blame The Rock for the human travesty that was DOOM: The Movie. I mean, they didn't let him be the super cool, one-liner spitting badass we know and love, instead relegating him to a ridiculously cliched soldier who goes too far. But despite that misstep, we still love the big lug, and have hope that he may be able to bring a little respect to videogame movies when Spy Hunter comes out in 2007.

Beating the flick to the punch, however, Midway is hard at work on Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run, a PS2 and Xbox title set to hit stores this summer. Thankfully, even though the game will beat out the movie by a year, it'll still feature the voice, likeness and undeniable presence ...

Sims 2 bringing home Pets? FunnyGames, May 13, 2006
What we heard: The Sims franchise has proved to be a monumental success. The life simulator has been a dominant force on the PC gaming charts since it took the leap from the mind of Maxis Studios head Will Wright onto retail shelves in 2000.

Though Wright wasn't at E3 pimping out some Sims-related gear, Electronic Arts was. Near the area housing Wright's PC game Spore, EA built a 360-degree trailer theater that showed a plethora of games from the publisher, including the lineup from Superman Returns: The Videogame, Battlefield 2142, and Medal of Honor: Airborne.

It wasn't all bullets and fighting, though. Stuck in the middle of the trailer were some cute and cuddly animals--and not the one-eyed freaks of nature of Spore. The familiar cybercitizens of The Sims 2 were shown hanging around in parks and playing with something they haven't been able to since the original The Sims game--pets...

Black and White 2 Review FunnyGames, October 25, 2005
Peter Molyneux's Black and White was universally hailed as an innovative switch-up in gaming prior to its launch, and frustrated critics referred to it as a toy once they'd had a chance to see the depth of the title's gameplay. The design of the sequel, Black and White 2, seems to be a deliberate response to the denouncements leveled at the original game. The result is a more traditional, less open-ended RTS with some identity issues. Despite that, being a god still has as much appeal as it did back in the days of Populous.
