Funny News: PC Advanced Warfighter advances on factory

April 19, 2006: PC Advanced Warfighter advances on factory

New edition of latest Ghost Recon game goes gold with original graphics engine, levels, PhysX card support.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series is poised to return to the platform from which it came, as Ubisoft today announced that Advanced Warfighter for the PC has gone gold.

Though it bears the same name and general story as the Xbox 360 hit, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for the PC has a number of distinct differences. It was developed by Swedish studio GRIN, for one, and features its own graphics engine. It also sports all-new levels, a strictly first-person perspective, and support for Aegia's new PhysX processor. The PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of GRAW were also substantially different from the heavily hyped Xbox 360 edition and received substantially poorer reviews.

Unreal Tournament 3 Review FunnyGames, November 29, 2007
Unreal Tournament 3 uses Unreal Engine 3, the same basic set of tools that powered Gears of War. As such, this is a really great-looking game on high-end machines. But even if your PC isn't top of the line, the game scales better than most, giving you a playable experience on midrange machines as well. UT3 certainly isn't the first PC game to have this problem, but given its highly competitive nature, cutting off parts of the screen seems to be a pretty bad solution...

There have been a few gems, however Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Lumines proved to be fun games that made a PSP worth buying. However, nothing else has really stood above the crowd and risen to the ranks of incredible game.

LocoRoco comes along to save the day for the PSP, though. At first glance, LocoRoco looks like nothing more than a kiddy game, something that most gamers would not give a second thought to. If you spend any time looking into the game, though, you will realize that it is far more. While it is easy to learn, it presents quite a few fun challenges along the way...
