Ms. Pac Man Review
Ms. Pac-Man is the lady-friendly follow-up to Pac-Man. It's the same basic dot-chomping, maze-navigating concept, but it's expanded. There are now multiple mazes, the fruit hops around, and the cutscenes are slightly more elaborate. Oh, and Ms. Pac-Man has a bow on her head. Like the other Namco releases for Xbox Live Arcade, Ms. Pac-Man is a straight-up emulation of the original game with no additions beyond an online scoreboard, some achievements, and colorful side graphics that surround the emulation. If the idea of a bare-bones emulation of Ms. Pac-Man sounds like it's worth five bucks to you, then you're in luck. But the standards for Xbox Live Arcade are a bit higher than what this game offers...
The Bad: Very plain presentation with no meaningful additions to the original game; unresponsive controls.
The Good: Talking about this game opens up a world of potential Wayne's World quotes.

Serious Sam II demo FunnyGames, September 22, 2005As promised, 2K Games now sends along the playable demo for
Serious Sam II, allowing the chance to pull out all the stops in this frantic
first-person shooter sequel that is nearing completion at Croteam. Word is: "This demo contains the complete Seriousopolis Uptown level from the game, which can be played solo, or over LAN or online by up to four people. It also contains all the weapons from the game (although you may have to cheat to see all of them), one of the game's vehicles and a nice variety of the insane enemies that Sam is well known for."
Lost: Via Domus Review (Xbox) FunnyGames, February 29, 2008You may be wondering if we really needed a video game based on the hit TV show Lost. While the show has a legion of fans, they've already got their hands full with the alternate reality game that went around and tons of mysteries still going on in each episode. But here comes Ubisoft with a licensed game, whether we like it or not. And frankly, unless you enjoy both light adventure games and the actual show, you'll probably not make it through this one. But for that narrow combination of fans of both, this can wind up being a pretty solid game...
...I'm not a huge adventure gaming fan, but I found that exploration and just taking in all the Lost-like stuff to be the best part of Via Domus. Solving fusebox puzzles by fiddling around with wiring is a significant part of your adventures...
