September 12, 2008: Mario Super Sluggers Review Wii...Mario Super Sluggers (MSS) is an arcade-style game similar to the previous entries in the Mario sports series. Gamers looking for a deep simulation-influenced baseball game should keep on looking. Gamers looking for a revolutionary, over-the-top baseball game that is brimming with tons of innovative and unique idea need to keep on looking as well. But if want a baseball title to sit back and play with your friends that is still loads of fun then MSS should fit the bill nicely. Remember not every game has to be a blockbuster for you to still have fun...
...Mario Super Slugger really is a game that will probably find more people playing the Exhibition mode simply because that is the true baseball portion of the game. The Mario theme of the game, special Star hits/pitches and Error Items do make for a fun filled baseball experience. The simplified controls should allow for almost anyone young or old to get into the game as well. Yet the main part of the game, the challenge mode, does feel rather flat simply because it feels like an overblown training...

Mortal Kombat Armageddon: New details released FunnyGames, July 26, 2006...Midway is bringing current-gen Mortal Kombat to a close with Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the biggest title in this legendary fighting game series to date. Armageddon promises to be the most complete MK title ever with tons of gameplay, dozens of characters to choose from, and several new features to bring longtime fans of the series back for one final blast through the Outworld...

We don't really know what to expect, but we imagine it'll be a simple, pick-up-and-play style as the other mini-games have been. Maybe Gauntlet with Mortal Kombat characters? ...FlatOut 2, while not a major improvement over the first game, is still a quality demolition racer game. The addition of more content in each and every mode is certainly a plus for this game, and the driving still has a satisfyingly destructive vibe to it. It's just too bad that it doesn't have the same quirky, filthy vibe like in the first game. Fortunately, there are still plenty of lovable qualities to be found in FlatOut 2, especially if all you want is the same basic racing gameplay as in the first FlatOut, but with a lot more of it.
The Good: Cars and tracks wreck and deform wonderfully; new plenty of content to mess with throughout the career mode, stunt mode, and online playto the stunt mode; mostly good soundtrack; stunts can be a real hoot...
