Nintendo Australia announced its latest round of game title updates for the Wii's Virtual Console. As well as three Sega Mega Drive games, 11 TurboGrafx-16 titles are now being made available for purchase through the Wii download service (Australia only), the first time the old console's games have been available down under.
The announcement makes it a 14-title refresh for Australians last week, bringing the total number of games available on the Virtual Console to 93. Mega Drive games will set you back 800 Wii points each, while TurboGrafx-16 games will cost slightly less at 600 points per game.
Bonk's Adventure, Bomberman '93, Super Star Soldier, Victory Run, Alien Crush, Military Madness, R-TYPE, Dungeon Explorer, Soldier Blade, Motoroader and Vigilante.

Mario Hoops 3-on-3 Reviewed (Nintendo DS) FunnyGames, October 1, 2006Finding new sports for
Mario Bros to take up is getting seriously tricky. Let's see what out favorite Italian stereotype has left to play, shall we? How about "Mario Angling"? That might be fun, but we'll save that one for the Wii-mote. "Donkey Kong Zorbing"? Nah, too much like Super Monkey Ball. Ok, got it: "Princess Peach Buzkashi Party". See how the word "party" makes it all seem more fun and accessible? ...
...One last problem in the presentation is how much time
Super Mario Hoops spends in transition after every basket. It takes a while to load and skip replays, bogging down otherwise quick gameplay. After you've waited through your hundredth highlight, you'll want to just be able to turn replays off. And hey! Guess what? You can't.
But you can always turn on the "rent" option.
Super Mario Bros Hoops is a decent, little game that's a bit too decent and way too little. It's good for a laugh or two, but it fails to capture the fast-paced fun factor of previous Mario sports titles.

Summer Athletics Review FunnyGames, September 12, 2008Summer Athletics isn't as beautiful or expansive as 'Beijing 2008', the official game of this summer's Olympics, but the cool thing about playing a track and field game on the Wii instead of on another platform is that you actually need to move to do it...
..Overall, Summer Athletics isn't a horrible game but it suffers the lack of creativity its ho-hum name implies. While the Wii controls make it relatively entertaining, it makes us beg for more: more events, more stats and customization and more sound, not to mention better graphics and animation. Fingers crossed that Data Design Interactive uses the next four years to improve on it rather than making a sequel to Ninja Bread Man.
The Bad: Limited selection of events; mediocre sound, animation and graphics
The Good: Interesting control schemes; 4-player split-screen/sequential multi-player; getting to smack your brother in the face while doing the backstroke
