...If you're reading this, there's a good chance you're already familiar with The Sims game and its sequel, The Sims 2. Both games will let you take control of little computer people and their virtual lives, cooking and eating virtual meals, meeting and greeting virtual friends and making virtual trips to their tiny little bathrooms. The Sims 2 has expanded the original Sims game by adding a lot of new features, such as genetics, which lets you build up families of your little "sim" characters and have children who bear strong resemblances to their parents. Now, the world of The Sims 2 game will be expanded just below eye level with man's best friend (dogs), as well as man's fairly good acquaintances: aquarium fish, cats and hamsters...

Spider Man 3 FunnyGames, May 28, 2007...The game controls are essentially the same as what we've seen since Spider-Man 2. You'll swing through the city on web ropes which are shot and swung from by pressing and holding the R trigger (R2 on the PS3). Releasing the button causes Spidey to let go; press it again while in mid-air and you get another web rope and another swing. It's a very simple mechanic that's worked amazingly well in the past and continues to do so in this game...

The Club certainly isn't a total waste, but the underlying quality of the gameplay makes the pain of its lesser bits and pieces feel all the more acute...
...If you're a fan of arcade games and constantly reaching for higher and higher point totals, don't worry about The Club's lesser elements. The core gameplay is tremendously entertaining, a great thing when you consider that repeat playthroughs are a must if the highest point barriers are to be broken. The multiplayer may be a bust and the story non-existent, but The Club is a worthwhile purchase for those seeking a challenging solo experience and/or a moderately-paced party game...
