October 29, 2007: Beautiful Katamari ReviewedWho the heck would have thought a game where you just roll a ball around picking up stuff would be such a gigantic success? Well, the Katamari Damacy series has become a favorite. It is a fun and easy to pick up game, is colorful, has awesome music and, best of all, comes at a budget price.
Really, Beautiful Katamari plays a lot like the other games in the series. Though, to be honest, I found some things harder to control with the 360 thumbsticks being at different horizontal planes on the controller. Being offset like that made it harder (at least for me) to do things like the dash and quick turns. Even if you're very used to the PS2 version, though, it won't be too hideously hard to shift over to the 360 controller for this one...

Rumor: Forza 2 again delayed? FunnyGames, September 11, 2006What we heard: One phrase Xbox-owning racing fans are no strangers to is "Forza Motorsport is delayed." The game was first shown off at E3 2004 and was expected to ship that holiday season. Then it was delayed...and delayed again...and delayed again...
So it likely comes as little surprise that the game's successor is in the rumor mill as also being a victim of delays. Forza Motorsport 2 for the Xbox 360 was scheduled to be released this November, in time for both the holiday rush and the release of the Xbox 360 wireless steering wheel. Now, according to a post over on the forums at Gaming Age, it appears Forza 2 won't hit the streets until 2007...

Nothing sucks the air out of a brilliant game like its inevitable clone backdraft, and nowhere is that more evident than in the case of Blizzard’s Diablo. Nox, Restricted Area and Sacred pleasantly plagiarized in the past, while more recent games like Dungeon Siege and even the Champions of Norrath series gussy it up enough to almost feel like new experiences. Regardless of their success, though, they’ve all borne the weight of their demonic ancestor upon narrow shoulders.
And now, the techie torch has been passed to THQ and Iron Lore, who have dubbed it Titan Quest. While this latest mob farmfest heralds seamless multiplayer, interesting character-class blending and a world editor of epic proportions, its gameplay falls short of hitting the addictive hack-and-loot formula of its impressive forbear...
