Career's band-building storyline is absent here, replaced with a series of face-offs which pit players against NPC opponents. The songs and setlists are all the same across both modes, but Career and Guitar Duel both have to be opened up separately...

Unlike CoD2, which was pretty straightforward FPS fare, CoD3 features a much more robust multiplayer component. One of the biggest differences is the addition of vehicles, from jeeps and buggies to tanks and APCs. While the game focuses mostly on street-to-street battles, you can also expect to see a few maps that are much more open, allowing you to go head to head with other vehicles. Of course, there are also infantry-only maps, for all you nostalgists out there.
