August 4, 2008: QuakeCon 2008: The Story of RageAt QuakeCon 2008, we got our first details on the story behind id's upcoming first-person action game. Id also showed off an extended version of the Rage trailer that debuted at E3 earlier this month that put a larger emphasis on driving and racing. But most of our new information came in an interview with id producer Tim Willits, who painted a somewhat clearer picture of a game heretofore described simply as a postapocalyptic shooting/driving hybrid. Rage is much more than that, he says...
...As seen in the many id Tech 5 demos and recent Rage trailers, driving will play a very large part in Rage. Over the course of the game, you'll accumulate several different vehicles that can be customized to your liking. In the latest trailer, we saw dune buggies racing on a desert track, armed with mounted Gatling guns and machine guns. Willits said these vehicles will become an extension of the player, so expect plenty of options for customization...>>

Tekken: Dark Resurrection review FunnyGames, August 7, 2006...While most fighters are primarily multiplayer centric, Tekken Dark Resurrection for the PSP offers up a healthy single player game component that should keep you playing when there are no friends online to be found. Story mode remains, as you're able to play as every character in a series of nine Tekken battles to learn everyone's backstory. Even cooler, each of these ends with a high quality FMV to close out the game story. Some of these are pretty standard, cool poses, lots of explosions and so forth. The best, though are the ones that don't take themselves too seriously. Seeing Panda in this game as the leader of a multinational corporation getting proposed to by Kuma the bear may be worth the price of admission on its own...

Poker king Hachem wins in Vegas FunnyGames, December 20, 2006
Aaustralian poker king Joe Hachem has pocketed nearly $3 million after winning the world's second biggest poker tournament. His victory at the Bellagio Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, earned him US$2.2 million ($2.8 million), reports The Australian newspaper.
He's very emotional, very humble and over the moon, brother Tony Hachem said.
The 39-year-old from Melbourne shocked the poker world last year by winning the main event of the World Series of Poker, pocketing $10 million.
He's a true-blue Aussie and everyone wants to take him on, his brother said.
But he's beaten the best players in America, some of whom have playing the game for 40 years.
He will play in the $US10 million Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas next week before returning for the Australian World Series at Melbourne's Crown casino.
