July 3, 2006: EA puts Sadler on NASCAR racing covers

NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler has always been into games, but now he's on one. Electronic Arts today announced that Sadler will grace the cover for its upcoming NASCAR 07 on the Xbox and the PlayStation 2, as well as NASCAR on the PSP.

"I'm thrilled that EA has chosen me as their cover athlete for the game this year," said Sadler, who has been involved with the gaming franchise for years. "I've been a big fan of this game for a while now and play it as often as I can whether I'm on the road or at home."

...The majority of this game is shooting. The visuals in this game are pretty impressive at times, but this one still winds up being a bore almost from the start. The action is just plain dull, and your enemies are about as stupid as they can get. Review Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories FunnyGames, November 13, 2006
Out of all the Grand Theft Auto racing games released so far, I've found that many people enjoyed Vice City the most. Maybe it's the music, maybe it's the characters, maybe it's that hilarious 80s atmosphere but for whatever reason the middle racing game in the "GTA3 trilogy" seems to be the favorite. After the sort of disappointing GTA: Liberty City Stories on PSP (which took the original city from GTA3 racing game and basically created a new story with both new and familiar characters at once), Rockstar Games is back on Sony's portable system with Vice City Stories. But is the return to Vice City racing game, which is clearly modeled after Miami, actually worth it?
