The story in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is fairly faithful to its cinematic counterpart, focusing almost exclusively on the bits featuring Captain Jack Sparrow, since that's the character you'll be playing as over the course of the game. The game starts with a little explanation for what Jack was doing in that coffin at the start of the film, and on the whole the story is mostly faithful, though it tweaks a few minor exchanges for the sake of streamlining the game's storytelling and ...
Good: Rousing Hans Zimmer score; multiplayer naval battles surprisingly fun gaming.
Bad: Swordplay is shallow and repetitive; game controls are too imprecise for platforming sections; endgame structure can make for tedious backtracking.

EA puts Sadler on NASCAR racing covers FunnyGames, July 3, 2006NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler has always been into games, but now he's on one. Electronic Arts today announced that Sadler will grace the cover for its upcoming NASCAR 07 on the Xbox and the PlayStation 2, as well as NASCAR on the PSP.
"I'm thrilled that EA has chosen me as their cover athlete for the game this year," said Sadler, who has been involved with the gaming franchise for years. "I've been a big fan of this game for a while now and play it as often as I can whether I'm on the road or at home."

The game straddles the line between giving players the chance to play as stick cricket captain and as a team manager, and the two don't always overlap. The on-field direction of who will bowl and bat, when they'll do it, and how the fieldsmen will be placed is all captain territory. On the other hand, between matches you'll need to manage player training and fitness by spending your allocated number of skill points. ICC '08 has added new coaching options, and whereas previously all you could do was assign generic bowling or batting training to players...
