... Apart from the single-player, we did get a glimpse of what to expect for the multiplayer. Unlike CoD2, which was pretty straightforward FPS fare, CoD3 features a much more robust multiplayer component. One of the biggest differences is the addition of vehicles, from jeeps and buggies to tanks and APCs. While the game focuses mostly on street-to-street battles, you can also expect to see a few maps that are much more open, allowing you to go head to head with other vehicles. Of course, there are also infantry-only maps, for all you nostalgists out there.

Call of Duty 3 looks like it'll be one of the most impressive FPS games of the year, and based on our time with the game, it's clear this isn't gonna be ...

Hand values increase dramatically in Omaha poker. While the median winning hand in hold'em is two pair, that hand is more often than not worthless in Omaha. If you're drawing to a flush, make it the nut flush. If you're drawing to a straight, make it the nut straight and if you're drawing to a low, you really need to make sure it's the nut low. Drawing to ten-high flushes, second nut lows and the bad ends of straights are huge money poker losers.

Weaving through oncoming traffic and drifting around corners builds up boost, which then can be triggered for a scary speed burst...

...Instead of racing, most of the events take the form of challenges: drift for over 9,000 yards, complete a lap in under a minute, take out fifteen cars. These are neat mini games, but here they have almost completely replaced the basic racing game which is rubber-banded to death anyway...
