From the article: "Our age is one of aging. Mainstream gamers are now older on average than they have ever been. When you are single and unemployed, it is easy to play The Godfather for nine straight hours the day the game hits the shelf. When you are married, it becomes tougher. When you have kids, it might be impossible. It is difficult to slice some time for yourself. And in that slice, you have to carve a portion for gaming. It is no wonder casual games that require no more than 10 minutes to play continue to grow in popularity. This is why we are more likely to login to Call of Duty 2 on Xbox Live to play a quick five-minute Team Deathmatch and leave the Lobby."

Review Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories FunnyGames, November 13, 2006Out of all the Grand Theft Auto racing games released so far, I've found that many people enjoyed Vice City the most. Maybe it's the music, maybe it's the characters, maybe it's that hilarious 80s atmosphere but for whatever reason the middle racing game in the "GTA3 trilogy" seems to be the favorite. After the sort of disappointing GTA: Liberty City Stories on PSP (which took the original city from GTA3 racing game and basically created a new story with both new and familiar characters at once), Rockstar Games is back on Sony's portable system with Vice City Stories. But is the return to Vice City racing game, which is clearly modeled after Miami, actually worth it?

... Apart from the single-player, we did get a glimpse of what to expect for the multiplayer. Unlike CoD2, which was pretty straightforward FPS fare, CoD3 features a much more robust multiplayer component. One of the biggest differences is the addition of vehicles, from jeeps and buggies to tanks and APCs. While the game focuses mostly on street-to-street battles, you can also expect to see a few maps that are much more open, allowing you to go head to head with other vehicles. Of course, there are also infantry-only maps, for all you nostalgists out there.
Call of Duty 3 looks like it'll be one of the most impressive FPS games of the year, and based on our time with the game, it's clear this isn't gonna be ...
