Funny News: Indiana Jones preview
June 6, 2006: Indiana Jones previewLucky us. We caught a glimpse of Lucasarts' next-gen Indiana Jones game. The plot is still a mystery, heck the game isn't scheduled to be released even remotely soon, but we did witness a super cool tech demo at E3 to whet our appetites.
As we've reported before, the game utilizes the Euphoria engine...which promises to advance video game character animations into realms we previously could only dream about.
In the demo we watched, Indy was standing on a cable car that was racing downhill through San Francisco's old-time Chinatown. Villains were coming from everywhere, from inside the cable car and also jumping onto the roof from other cars...

Mortal Kombat Armageddon: New details released FunnyGames, July 26, 2006...Midway is bringing current-gen Mortal Kombat to a close with Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the biggest title in this legendary fighting game series to date. Armageddon promises to be the most complete MK title ever with tons of gameplay, dozens of characters to choose from, and several new features to bring longtime fans of the series back for one final blast through the Outworld...
...Last but not least, the game's producer hinted at a super secret mode akin to the zany puzzle games in previous MK titles. We don't really know what to expect, but we imagine it'll be a simple, pick-up-and-play style as the other mini-games have been. Maybe Gauntlet with Mortal Kombat characters? Full Auto 2 racing game on PSP FunnyGames, November 13, 2006
...Like its console counterpart, Full Auto 2 is a racing car combat game featuring vehicles outfitted with various weapons. Gamers will race around 15 fully destructible environments in a car race to see who can finish first in one piece.
The single-player race game version features 56 events, and multiplayer modes include a variety of modes, including Down & Back, Head-On and Arena Deathmatch. Also carrying over from the console version is the unwreck feature. This feature allows Auto 2 gamers to reverse time and have a second chance at maintaining their safe driver's insurance discount.
Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PS3 will be ready for the console's North American launch on November 17. Full Auto 2 Battlelines for the PSP has not yet been rated or priced.
