What are popups?
Pop-up ads are a form of online advertising on the World Wide Web intended to increase web traffic or sell ads. It works when certain web sites open a new web browser window to display advertisements. The pop-up window containing an advertisement is usually generated by JavaScript, but can be generated by other means as well.
A variation on the pop-up window is the pop-under advertisement. This opens a new browser window, behind the active window. Pop-unders interrupt the user less, but are not seen until the desired windows are closed, making it more difficult for the user to determine which Web site opened them.

Switchball Review FunnyGames, November 29, 2007The holiday rush means that a lot of games fall by the wayside in favor of more glitzy, big budget affairs. It's a shame, cause a lot of these games are developed by small studios that really don't have a sliver of the marketing might of a big house...and yet, oftentimes their games are just as good if not better! Sid Meier's latest strategy-sim takes the series into full 3D for first time, adds new ways to manage a society.
2K Games today announced that it is bringing Civilization IV to the unwashed masses--and to the washed masses, too.
