As you get a bit of story, he'll make an escape while being chased by an Indiana Jones style boulder. For the uninitiated, the single player game puts you into some sort of cheesy situation and gives you a chance to fail as many as four microgames. Sampling of EA's real-time strategy game set in Tolkien's universe features aspects from popular films, tomes.
For fans of The Lord of the Rings books and movies, there is now one demo to rule them all. The first playable demo of Electronic Arts' The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II is now available on GameSpot.

The hefty single-player sampling (it weighs in at more than 1.3GBs) allows gamers to try their hand at the real-time strategy game's tutorial, as well as the skirmish mode on two different maps. The demo's playable factions include two of the three new races--the goblins and the dwarves.

Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins Review FunnyGames, September 5, 2006
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a definite ode to the old school series and to classic arcade games in general. It doesn't compromise its values, staying true to its ridiculous difficulty, forgettable storyline and outlandish enemies. It may not be the most innovative game on the PSP, and it's not without its faults, but old school gamers and action fanatics will find a lot to enjoy here.

...In all, Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a great buy for folks that loved the original games, as it adds enough to keep things fresh. Recently christened gamers might find the old school mechanics too frustrating and should think about checking out the originals before dropping down 40 bucks on the latest version.
