September 11, 2006: Review LocoRoco (Puzzle PSP)...LocoRoco is an instantly appealing game to those of us still trying to figure out why we ever said anything nice about our dust-collecting PSPs. It is cute, stylish and fun, a unique game that gets past its myriad hang-ups by squeezing its slippery frame into a comfy, quirky niche...
...So is the overall game, but it is a pretty trip. Oozing bizarre style out of every pore, this is proof that creative design does not require fancy DVD players or burly graphics cards. It is perfectly suited for the PSP, with gameplay and graphics that actually take advantage of the 16:9 aspect ratio and great screen. Though it does not roll quite far enough, LocoRoco is certainly a song worth singing.

Summer Athletics Review FunnyGames, September 12, 2008Summer Athletics isn't as beautiful or expansive as 'Beijing 2008', the official game of this summer's Olympics, but the cool thing about playing a track and field game on the Wii instead of on another platform is that you actually need to move to do it...
..Overall, Summer Athletics isn't a horrible game but it suffers the lack of creativity its ho-hum name implies. While the Wii controls make it relatively entertaining, it makes us beg for more: more events, more stats and customization and more sound, not to mention better graphics and animation. Fingers crossed that Data Design Interactive uses the next four years to improve on it rather than making a sequel to Ninja Bread Man.
The Bad: Limited selection of events; mediocre sound, animation and graphics
The Good: Interesting control schemes; 4-player split-screen/sequential multi-player; getting to smack your brother in the face while doing the backstroke

Beautiful Katamari Reviewed FunnyGames, October 29, 2007
Who the heck would have thought a game where you just roll a ball around picking up stuff would be such a gigantic success? Well, the Katamari Damacy series has become a favorite. It is a fun and easy to pick up game, is colorful, has awesome music and, best of all, comes at a budget price.
Really, Beautiful Katamari plays a lot like the other games in the series. Though, to be honest, I found some things harder to control with the 360 thumbsticks being at different horizontal planes on the controller. Being offset like that made it harder (at least for me) to do things like the dash and quick turns. Even if you're very used to the PS2 version, though, it won't be too hideously hard to shift over to the 360 controller for this one...
