Funny News: Xbox Live Arcade Update
February 27, 2007: Xbox Live Arcade UpdateIt has been weeks since anyone's paid attention to Xbox Live Arcade. Unless you're a hardcore fan of twenty-year-old remakes or add-on packs for expensive puzzle games, there's not been a whole lot to keep you occupied. Since Heavy Weapon, consider the release list the service has seen: Ms Pac-Man, Lumines Live Puzzle/Mission pack, Nothing, Root Beer Tapper, Paperboy, Nada. Not exactly gangbusters for Microsoft...
...This week MS announced several upcoming titles to assure that Xbox Live Arcade won't be quiet forever. EA is supporting the service with a new Wing Commander game and a rhythm game called Boom Boom Rocket. There's also the much anticipated release of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the rumored release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game...

Call of Duty 3 preview FunnyGames, July 18, 2006... Apart from the single-player, we did get a glimpse of what to expect for the multiplayer. Unlike CoD2, which was pretty straightforward FPS fare, CoD3 features a much more robust multiplayer component. One of the biggest differences is the addition of vehicles, from jeeps and buggies to tanks and APCs. While the game focuses mostly on street-to-street battles, you can also expect to see a few maps that are much more open, allowing you to go head to head with other vehicles. Of course, there are also infantry-only maps, for all you nostalgists out there.

Rumor: 2 Gran Turismo race games for PS3? FunnyGames, October 1, 2006
... Rumor: The interview allegedly says that the Gran Turismo debut on the PlayStation 3 will come in two forms, one called Gran Turismo HD: Premium and one called Gran Turismo HD: Classic.
Premium will feature "the full graphics power of the PS3" and include 30 cars and two courses, with the option to buy more of each later. There will allegedly be one mode--a casual racing mode--that doesn't include the typical GT gameplay of winning races and acquiring cars and medals.
