For those lucky gamers who managed to nab themselves a Halo 3 beta key over the last couple of months, the wait is almost over to test drive the new first-person shooter. The multiplayer beta will be going live on May 16 on Xbox Live globally, Microsoft announced today...

Sega rolled out a Wii version of Super Monkey Ball recently, and we had a chance to check out all of the monkey madness using the system's motion-sensing remote and nunchaku. There's not much that looks different in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, but its feel adds a new layer of fun when controlling AiAi and friends.

In the single-player puzzle demo, tilting the remote sent AiAi rolling in the corresponding direction. Slightly pointing the remote down rolled him forward, leaning it to the right or left initiated a turn, and adjusting it to the ceiling slowed him down and eventually sent him backwards. ...The game was originally scheduled to be released during the 2006 holiday season, but it officially backed into 2007 at X06. Its predecessor, 2005's Forza Motorsport for the original Xbox, was also a victim of backpedaling release dates, finally making it off the lot six months after its initial launch date.

In addition, speed racers know not only when they will be driving but also what they will be driving. The Forza team unveiled the final list of 300-plus cars featured in the game, considerably more than the 230-car roster of the original Forza. The list is likely to grow, as downloadable content is expected through Xbox Live Marketplace and the Forza Online Auction House...
