July 24, 2007: Harry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixThe most recent entry in the Harry Potter pantheon of games takes advantage of ever-advancing game technology to offer several exciting new features. First, the game takes its cue from Grand Theft Auto, Bully and other popular games of the last couple of years, and offers a fully-immersive "sandbox" experience, allowing players to fully roam throughout 85 locations in Hogwarts, as well as the Ministry of Magic and other places.
The game seems tailor-made for the Wii, as spellcasting now requires more dexterity to execute the precise movements necessary to get one's magic on. "Discovery Points" allow players to advance through the plot of the game, and it's rumored that, in addition to Harry, playable versions of Sirius Black and Dumbledore will be available. In all, more than 60 missions and interaction with over 90 characters are promised.

Review: Burnout: Dominator racing (PS2) FunnyGames, April 10, 2007...This racing game has not changed substantially - you still pilot a car at breakneck speeds through the crowded streets of unnamed cities. You get points for driving recklessly. Weaving through oncoming traffic and drifting around corners builds up boost, which then can be triggered for a scary speed burst...
...Instead of racing, most of the events take the form of challenges: drift for over 9,000 yards, complete a lap in under a minute, take out fifteen cars. These are neat mini games, but here they have almost completely replaced the basic racing game which is rubber-banded to death anyway...

New edition of latest Ghost Recon game goes gold with original graphics engine, levels, PhysX card support.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series is poised to return to the platform from which it came, as Ubisoft today announced that Advanced Warfighter for the PC has gone gold.
Though it bears the same name and general story as the Xbox 360 hit, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for the PC has a number of distinct differences. It was developed by Swedish studio GRIN, for one, and features its own graphics engine. It also sports all-new levels, a strictly first-person perspective, and support for Aegia's new PhysX processor. The PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of GRAW were also substantially different from the heavily hyped Xbox 360 edition and received substantially poorer reviews.
