While the original Streets of Rage always stood in the shadow of Capcom's genre-defining Final Fight, Sega's homegrown beat-'em-up series really came into its own with Streets of Rage 2. Released two years after the original, Streets of Rage 2 offered markedly refined gameplay and improved presentation, both technically and stylistically. The game was released on the Wii Virtual Console earlier this year, and now it's on Xbox Live Arcade with a few new bells and whistles...
...While there were minor differences between the three playable characters in the original Streets of Rage, they're much more pronounced here. Most significant is that each character has a special attack that effectively replaces the ability to call in an artillery strike from the first game, though even basics like run speed, attack strength, and how grapple moves are executed look and feel unique to each of the four characters...

The Club Game Review FunnyGames, February 29, 2008Bizarre Creations' The Club is a bewildering beast of a video game. The core gameplay conceit of tightly focused speed and combo runs through a mixture of gun-toting enemy-filled maps works extremely well in practice. Problem is, nearly everything surrounding what works is astoundingly unimpressive, from the "set up and discard" approach to an otherwise compelling backstory to the game's criminally tacked-on multiplayer. The Club certainly isn't a total waste, but the underlying quality of the gameplay makes the pain of its lesser bits and pieces feel all the more acute...
...If you're a fan of arcade games and constantly reaching for higher and higher point totals, don't worry about The Club's lesser elements. The core gameplay is tremendously entertaining, a great thing when you consider that repeat playthroughs are a must if the highest point barriers are to be broken. The multiplayer may be a bust and the story non-existent, but The Club is a worthwhile purchase for those seeking a challenging solo experience and/or a moderately-paced party game...

Full Auto 2 racing game on PSP FunnyGames, November 13, 2006...Like its console counterpart, Full Auto 2 is a racing car combat game featuring vehicles outfitted with various weapons. Gamers will race around 15 fully destructible environments in a car race to see who can finish first in one piece.
The single-player race game version features 56 events, and multiplayer modes include a variety of modes, including Down & Back, Head-On and Arena Deathmatch. Also carrying over from the console version is the unwreck feature. This feature allows Auto 2 gamers to reverse time and have a second chance at maintaining their safe driver's insurance discount.
Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PS3 will be ready for the console's North American launch on November 17. Full Auto 2 Battlelines for the PSP has not yet been rated or priced.
