Funny News: Mario Kart Wii Reviewed
May 21, 2008: Mario Kart Wii Reviewed...From a single-player perspective, Mario Kart Wii offers about as much depth has it has in previous entries. Race through a bunch of different tracks and engine levels against AI racers to win new characters, vehicles and tracks. Very straight forward, almost to the point of phoning it in. Considering how much work went into the single-player of Smash Bros Brawl (another primarily multiplayer game), some cutscenes or an overarching story would've gone a long way.
For multiplayer, you can play split screen with up to 4 players, or hop online with one other person and take on folks from around the globe. While playing living people adds to the challenge of the game, Mario Kart really loses something if you're playing against people that aren't on the same couch as you, and the lack of voice chat doesn't help matters much. Though it's there, the cumbersome nature of the online features means that you're probably better off sticking with local games...

Review: Burnout: Dominator racing (PS2) FunnyGames, April 10, 2007...This racing game has not changed substantially - you still pilot a car at breakneck speeds through the crowded streets of unnamed cities. You get points for driving recklessly. Weaving through oncoming traffic and drifting around corners builds up boost, which then can be triggered for a scary speed burst...
...Instead of racing, most of the events take the form of challenges: drift for over 9,000 yards, complete a lap in under a minute, take out fifteen cars. These are neat mini games, but here they have almost completely replaced the basic racing game which is rubber-banded to death anyway...

DS Review: The World Ends With You FunnyGames, June 11, 2008
Despite a few clichés and silly kangaroo monsters, the artful character dramas burn slowly over the eight-hour playtime, until you hungrily wish to see them go further at the game's conclusion. In the meanwhile, there's still plenty of game to play and story to see after the credits roll... but enough about that. Parents be warned, Neku and company get a Teen rating for a bit of foul language.
With the frantic dual-screen battles in a dense little city, The World Ends With You is a surprisingly hardcore, impossibly ambitious DS title. This pint-size powerhouse might sadly intimidate a few DS owners and their Pokeymans. Don't get scared off; put down your Zeldas and your juice boxes for two minutes and try taking on The World.
