...Like any fighting game, Burst Limit is best when played against unpredictable human opponents, largely because they're less likely to fall for some of the cheap tricks that you can get away with against the AI on easier difficulty settings. In Versus mode, you can do battle either with a friend who is sitting next to you or with other players from all over the world. Battles against players from other continents often suffer from noticeable lag, but if you successfully search for an opponent nearby, then silky smooth matchups are certainly possible. Incidentally, online leaderboards track and grade your performances anytime you choose to fight in a ranked match, and you can use that information to search for opponents of a similar skill level...

BioShock Game Review FunnyGames, September 4, 2007It's here and in stores! BioShock, the first big game of the second half of 2007, is here on Xbox 360 and PC. I've already reviewed the Xbox 360 version of the game, and from a non-technical standpoint all the great music, action, and RPG choices to make are here here. Unfortunately, so are all the problems that you see in many major PC game releases including crashes, copy protection issues for legitimate buyers, and performance iffiness for computers closer to the minimum spec.
If you do manage to get the game running - and maybe even get those new nVidia drivers or the ATI hotfix installed for a little better performance - you'll find that BioShock, which runs on Unreal Engine 3 - the same technology that powered Gears of War on the 360 - looks and plays great. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars FunnyGames, February 10, 2006UK developer Splash Damage is a pioneer in multiplayer gaming, even if most of the thousands of online FPS players have never heard of them. These are the guys that developed the multiplayer portion of
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, the Activision title that was released for free a few years ago. Activision pulled a wonderful PR move in releasing this as a stand-alone game, and it's been a favorite of many FPS gamers since.
Now, Splash Damage is getting their chance to make their own multiplayer game that's not just intended to be tacked onto something else. Enemy Territory:
Quake Wars combines Splash Damage's unique brand of FPS action with the sci-fi world of
Quake to make something that's truly unique. The team at Splash Damage is still largely a bunch of modmakers without true retail game experience.
