May 13, 2006: Spyhunter 2 E3 2003 Preshow ReportSpy Hunter 2 is the follow-up to 2001’s highly popular driving action game SpyHunter, and it will be shown at Midway’s E3 booth this year. The game is set to feature numerous gameplay improvements over its predecessor, as well as a host of new missions, enemies, and weapons. You will once again assume the role of Alec Sects, still fighting the evil forces of Nostra via your technologically advanced Interceptor. Now, however, Alec will have a partner in a sexy female agent whose background is shrouded in mystery. With the aid of this enigmatic agent and Leonie 2.0, an upgraded version of the Interceptor’s online computer, you will take on Nostra’s forces in fast-paced, action-packed driving combat...
Spy Hunter 2 will feature a brand-new G-8155 Interceptor, complete with upgraded transformations, snow and off-road capabilities, and a new advanced weapon and equipment system that allows you to customize the vehicle with weaponry to suit your personal style of play. Indiana Jones preview FunnyGames, June 6, 2006Lucky us. We caught a glimpse of Lucasarts' next-gen Indiana Jones game. The plot is still a mystery, heck the game isn't scheduled to be released even remotely soon, but we did witness a super cool tech demo at E3 to whet our appetites.
As we've reported before, the game utilizes the Euphoria engine...which promises to advance video game character animations into realms we previously could only dream about.
In the demo we watched, Indy was standing on a cable car that was racing downhill through San Francisco's old-time Chinatown. Villains were coming from everywhere, from inside the cable car and also jumping onto the roof from other cars...

...Although we probably only saw the tip of the iceberg of this game, the graphics looked wonderful. The Unnamed Hero was bad, big and wore very cool armor. His fire spells in the game featured some sizzling effects and the environments were alive with atmospheric details, like uppity humans hanging from poles. This is not like the Final Fantasy game.
Rather, it’s the third game in a series we’ve only just become acquainted with, and can’t wait to get to know the game better. With its good looks, fascinating racial dynamics, intense action and absolute freedom, Gothic 3 game will let us unleash both our inner wusses and bullies when the game hits the shelves in November 2006.
