Funny News: Auto Assault Review
June 6, 2006: Auto Assault ReviewAuto Assault is a post-apocalyptic combat driving MMORPG that was released by NetDevil and NCSoft. The game aims to provide players with a unique combat system that promises high speed destruction in a massively multiplayer environment. Players choose from three races: Biomeks, Humans, and Mutants where they harness their skills while preparing to duke it out in the middle of the world at higher levels.
Most Anticipated of 2005, Best Online Multiplayer Game, Editors Choice, Best Gameplay. These are just a few of the lines that were all over the front pages of PC gaming magazines and websites after the E3 show of 2005. Everybody seemed to be excited about a game that promised to bring some new, fast-paced, combat driving to the market in the form of a massively multiplayer role-playing game.

...ProStreet is light on game modes. You can play a quick race, start a career, or play wirelessly via ad hoc or online. We were never able to find more than three people online at a time, and none of them ever wanted to play. Career mode contains the bulk of what little value the game has...
++Good: 32 different cars. Cars show and react to damage.
--Bad: Career mode is nothing more than a succession of races. Controls are terrible. Extremely poor sense of speed. Race types are nothing special.

...LocoRoco is an instantly appealing game to those of us still trying to figure out why we ever said anything nice about our dust-collecting PSPs. It is cute, stylish and fun, a unique game that gets past its myriad hang-ups by squeezing its slippery frame into a comfy, quirky niche...
...So is the overall game, but it is a pretty trip. Oozing bizarre style out of every pore, this is proof that creative design does not require fancy DVD players or burly graphics cards. It is perfectly suited for the PSP, with gameplay and graphics that actually take advantage of the 16:9 aspect ratio and great screen. Though it does not roll quite far enough, LocoRoco is certainly a song worth singing.
