November 13, 2006: Medieval II Total WarSEGA announced that the Medieval II: Total War game for the PC has officially gone gold and will release on November 14, 2006 in North America. Video Slots Pulled From Ontario Casinos FunnyGames, February 27, 2007Dozens of video slot machines found to flash jackpot logos across screen with every spin; regulatory board determining if it was subliminal messaging or a glitch.
On Friday, an Ontario gambling operator shut down 87 Konami video slot machines in the Canadian province out of concern that they may contain subliminal messages that would encourage players to keep gambling, according to CBC News. Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a definite ode to the old school series and to classic arcade games in general. It doesn't compromise its values, staying true to its ridiculous difficulty, forgettable storyline and outlandish enemies. It may not be the most innovative game on the PSP, and it's not without its faults, but old school gamers and action fanatics will find a lot to enjoy here.
...In all, Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a great buy for folks that loved the original games, as it adds enough to keep things fresh. Recently christened gamers might find the old school mechanics too frustrating and should think about checking out the originals before dropping down 40 bucks on the latest version.
