January 17, 2007: The 'Other' Games of Poker: Limit Omaha Hi-Lo...Omaha hi-lo is a poker game of the nuts. With four cards in each player's hand, the sheer number of two-card combinations available tell us that the nuts are probably out there. Hand values increase dramatically in Omaha poker. While the median winning hand in hold'em is two pair, that hand is more often than not worthless in Omaha. If you're drawing to a flush, make it the nut flush. If you're drawing to a straight, make it the nut straight and if you're drawing to a low, you really need to make sure it's the nut low. Drawing to ten-high flushes, second nut lows and the bad ends of straights are huge money poker losers.

Resident Evil 4 Review - Wii FunnyGames, July 9, 2007Resident Evil 4 was a spectacular game when it first came out, with amazing graphics for its mother system, the Nintendo Gamecube, contextually sensitive buttons and controls, and interactive cutscenes involving awesome knife fights, portentous plot points, and main-man Leon doing body shots off of hookers in Mexican hell-holes. The game's namesake - the Phantom Hourglass - comes into play in the temple you have to explore to move forward in the game. The sand in the hourglass represents your life - life that gets slowly drained away bit by bit whenever you aren't standing in one of the temple's 'Safe Zones'. Basically, this means that each temple works like a timed puzzle as your life force slowly slides away, but with the added bonus of being able to stop, catch your breath, and strategize your next move without having to worry about the clock all the time.
The temples are also the locations of the game's battle minigame, which can be played against the computer or with a friend. In this game, you take turns playing either Link or the temple guards. Link's goal is to pick up triforce pieces from around the map and bring them back to his base. The goal of the guards, of course, is to smash Link...
