Funny News: Sims 2 bringing home Pets?
May 13, 2006: Sims 2 bringing home Pets?What we heard: The Sims franchise has proved to be a monumental success. The life simulator has been a dominant force on the PC gaming charts since it took the leap from the mind of Maxis Studios head Will Wright onto retail shelves in 2000.
Though Wright wasn't at E3 pimping out some Sims-related gear, Electronic Arts was. Near the area housing Wright's PC game Spore, EA built a 360-degree trailer theater that showed a plethora of games from the publisher, including the lineup from Superman Returns: The Videogame, Battlefield 2142, and Medal of Honor: Airborne.
It wasn't all bullets and fighting, though. Stuck in the middle of the trailer were some cute and cuddly animals--and not the one-eyed freaks of nature of Spore. The familiar cybercitizens of The Sims 2 were shown hanging around in parks and playing with something they haven't been able to since the original The Sims game--pets...

Transformers: The Game Reviewed FunnyGames, July 24, 2007...The game does follow the movie's plot loosely, but you'll find that the missions you need to do are generally less exciting than in the movie due to the rather dull action sequences. From playing as the Autobot Bumblebee whose mission is to protect Mikaela and Sam (and his great-grandfather's glasses that have the encoded location of the "Allspark" on them) to just plain destroying half of a city as a Decepticon, the events in the game do follow the movie but are decidedly more disjointed and often have you doing things repeatedly just so that the overall length of the game is increased...
...Transformers does have a few redeeming moments, like when you get to play as Scorponok, but there are just way too many long stretches of mediocrity for me to be able to recommend this one. The PS3 version looks great in screenshots, but it plays like a budget game and yet still sports the full $59.99 price tag....

Before hot coffee scalded the stock price of Rockstar and ailing parent Take 2, it seemed Grand Theft Auto could do no wrong...
But we finally saw a crack in the, well, crack when the series shifted to the PSP in the original Liberty City Stories. With gameplay stuck somewhere between GTA III and Vice City, it was the first game that didn't do anything new, instead offering a nice, safe tour through a familiar locale. We marveled at the technological effort and excused the lack of innovation since, hot damn, this was a full-fledged GTA running on a little PSP...
