It has been weeks since anyone's paid attention to Xbox Live Arcade. Unless you're a hardcore fan of twenty-year-old remakes or add-on packs for expensive puzzle games, there's not been a whole lot to keep you occupied. Since Heavy Weapon, consider the release list the service has seen: Ms Pac-Man, Lumines Live Puzzle/Mission pack, Nothing, Root Beer Tapper, Paperboy, Nada. Not exactly gangbusters for Microsoft...

Super Mario Party 8 Review FunnyGames, July 9, 2007...Mario Party 8, despite being on the Wii, is almost identical in terms of presentation and scope of the previous installments. It's still a hyper cute, turn-based board game where Mario characters attempt to collect stars, beating out other denizens of the mushroom kingdom. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix FunnyGames, July 24, 2007The most recent entry in the Harry Potter pantheon of games takes advantage of ever-advancing game technology to offer several exciting new features. First, the game takes its cue from Grand Theft Auto, Bully and other popular games of the last couple of years, and offers a fully-immersive "sandbox" experience, allowing players to fully roam throughout 85 locations in Hogwarts, as well as the Ministry of Magic and other places.

"Discovery Points" allow players to advance through the plot of the game, and it's rumored that, in addition to Harry, playable versions of Sirius Black and Dumbledore will be available. In all, more than 60 missions and interaction with over 90 characters are promised.
