Funny News: Black and White 2 Review
October 25, 2005: Black and White 2 ReviewPeter Molyneux's Black and White was universally hailed as an innovative switch-up in gaming prior to its launch, and frustrated critics referred to it as a toy once they'd had a chance to see the depth of the title's gameplay. The design of the sequel, Black and White 2, seems to be a deliberate response to the denouncements leveled at the original game. The result is a more traditional, less open-ended RTS with some identity issues. Despite that, being a god still has as much appeal as it did back in the days of Populous. Mario Hoops 3-on-3 Reviewed (Nintendo DS) FunnyGames, October 1, 2006Finding new sports for Mario Bros to take up is getting seriously tricky. Let's see what out favorite Italian stereotype has left to play, shall we? How about "Mario Angling"? That might be fun, but we'll save that one for the Wii-mote. "Donkey Kong Zorbing"? Nah, too much like Super Monkey Ball. Ok, got it: "Princess Peach Buzkashi Party". See how the word "party" makes it all seem more fun and accessible? ...
...One last problem in the presentation is how much time Super Mario Hoops spends in transition after every basket. It takes a while to load and skip replays, bogging down otherwise quick gameplay. After you've waited through your hundredth highlight, you'll want to just be able to turn replays off. And hey! Guess what? You can't.
But you can always turn on the "rent" option. Super Mario Bros Hoops is a decent, little game that's a bit too decent and way too little. It's good for a laugh or two, but it fails to capture the fast-paced fun factor of previous Mario sports titles. Super Mario Bros Caber Toss, here I come!

World Championship Poker goes "All In" with Xbox 360, PS2, and PSP versions; new title features mixed games, 18 types of poker.

Soon, gamers may be able to look into the dilating pupils of some next-generation digital-card players to decide whether it's worth risking some fake money.
Crave Entertainment is dealing its World Championship Poker series a third hand. The publisher has announced that World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer "All In" is currently being developed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable but has not yet revealed a release date.
