Funny News: Black and White 2 Review
October 25, 2005: Black and White 2 ReviewPeter Molyneux's Black and White was universally hailed as an innovative switch-up in gaming prior to its launch, and frustrated critics referred to it as a toy once they'd had a chance to see the depth of the title's gameplay. The design of the sequel, Black and White 2, seems to be a deliberate response to the denouncements leveled at the original game. The result is a more traditional, less open-ended RTS with some identity issues. Despite that, being a god still has as much appeal as it did back in the days of Populous. PSP gets greatest game hits FunnyGames, July 26, 2006Sony's Greatest Hits program, where top-selling older game titles are rereleased with new packaging and a budget price tag, was officially introduced to the PlayStation Portable today. Effective immediately, five of Sony's first-party PSP games (Wipeout Pure, Twisted Metal: Head On, Ape Escape: On the Loose, ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails, and Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee) are available for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
While the first wave of game hits is limited to first-party games from around the time of the system's March 2005 launch, Sony has said that third-party games will achieve Greatest Hits status later this year. Specifically, Lumines, Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, and Star Wars Battlefront II are all due to go easier on gamers' wallets...

...The majority of this game is shooting. The visuals in this game are pretty impressive at times, but this one still winds up being a bore almost from the start. The action is just plain dull, and your enemies are about as stupid as they can get. Enemy soldiers rattle off the same stupid lines over and over, while the otherwise interesting music gets drowned out by the same rock tune every time a fight starts up...
...The game runs through a list of both old-school shooter and modern day action game stereotypes as well. From the Heaven/Hell story to fairly standard boss fights to my favorite part, the key-card hunting, you'll find that this one is highly derivative. Sure, the physics system and lighting and textures are pretty nice if you've got a PC to handle that stuff on, but they don't really do anything for the actual game. The story starts...
